As a veteran audio electronics maker Sennheiser has decided to stick to their guns. Instead of wandering into balanced armature territory like so many other earphone makers have in following the trend created by In-Ear Monitors (IEMs), the German headphone maker s latest IEM features only single dynamic drivers in each earbud.
Yet the promise is that its XWB transducer (XWB stands for Extra Wide Band) is able to produce audiophile sound without the multi-driver arrays in typical IEMs. Can the IE 300 really match the sound of modern competing IEMs on the market? We dove in to find out.
KBEAR launches new range of new Hi-Fi IEMs in India starting at Rs. 3990
KBEAR, an international audio brand, has announced the launch of 5 Hi-Fi IEMs in India. These include the KS2, Lark, Believe, Diamond earphones and they also launched the Starsea earphones under their sub-brand “TRI”.
Among the 5 IEMs, the KBEAR Believe IEM is the most premium, featuring 9mm drivers with N52 neodymium iron boron strong magnets for improved dynamic response and better transient performance. The diaphragms are made out Japanese-imported pure beryllium, and have precisely calibrated pressure chambers for clear audio without distortion.
The KBEAR Diamond IEMs gets its name from the diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated 9mm dynamic driver thats housed in premium Aluminium alloy with a carbon fiber face plate. These drivers can achieve an organic tone with excellent fidelity, frequency characteristics and low distortion.

Coolpad has now announced the launch of a new accessory in the country. The company has launched wireless earphones at Rs. 1,199. The Coolpad Cool Bass Buds are already available on Amazon. The newly launched earbuds come with Deep Bass 13 mm Dynamic Driver, Bluetooth 5.0, strong connectivity, powerful sound, Active Voice Assistants like Siri and Google. The earbuds are expected to offer three hours of backup after 15 minutes of charging.
The earbuds have a 400 mAh battery along with Quick Charging capabilities, 4.5 hours of playing time, 20 hours of extended playback time, and four hours of talk time. The company also said that earbuds come with ultra-portable and Dolphin Design 2.0 with a smart digital battery display. In addition, the company added a Type-C interface to the device.
