millions of folk. kind of spread out a little bit. overth last few weeks sort of concentrated over the southwest and texas and louisiana. look at el paso. 37 days with highs at 100 degrees plus. so we re setting records not only in texas but mrs. phoenix. i know they have surpassed the record for the most days of 110 degrees plus. and look at the temperature outlook as we go through the next couple of weeks. very likely warmer over these southern states moving up towards the mid-atlantic. we do have some severe storms that are firing right now for parts of nebraska in towards iowa where we have a severe thunderstorm watch in effect. large hail, damaging winds will be possible. and then a look at today s forecast. 86 here in new york with mostly sunny skies and we are starting to see a little bit more of that smoke again for the upper midwest. so certainly air quality alerts for folks in those regions. we will keep you up to date fox weather.com for all of those weather details.
