Overwhelmed agents with the US Border Patrol have run out of space to process the historic number of migrants who have flooded over Americas southern border in recent days.

All Border Patrol agents in the Eagle Pass, Texas area have been taken off their regular duties to keep drugs and illegal immigrants out and sent to deal with massive crowds of 14,000 migrants.

Homeland Security said Sunday it will suspend cross-border freight train operations at crossings between Mexico and El Paso and Eagle Pass in Texas.

Eagle Pass is hoping state and federal leaders will advocate for the international bridge to be fully reopened.
