Sazerac names Singapore distributor

Sazerac names Singapore distributor Buffalo Trace owner Sazerac has agreed a distribution deal with Dyspatchr in Singapore. Dyspatchr will offer a custom barrel programme with Buffalo Trace Distillery Dyspatchr will offer Sazerac-owned spirits including Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Corazón Tequila, Eagle Rare Bourbon and the newly-launched Jung and Wulff rum brand. The Singapore-based importer will also market Sazerac’s latest Cognac releases, Seignette and Sazerac De Forge. Simone Dyson, head of spirits and education for Dyspatchr, said: “We’re thrilled to represent these renowned brands from Sazerac’s portfolio as Dyspatchr continues to grow.” Through its collaboration with Sazerac, Dyspatchr will also roll out a custom barrel programme with Kentucky’s Buffalo Trace Distillery. The brand’s master distiller will ship a selection of cask samples for partners to choose from, before they select bespoke bottle designs and can receive the empty barrel.

Off Their Plate founder Natalie Guo has been awarded the Eagle Rare Life Award Founded by Natalie Guo, Off Their Plate partners with bars and restaurants to feed vulnerable people in the local area. The non-profit organisation has been awarded the 2021 Eagle Rare Life Award, which donates US$50,000 to an individual or organisation that ‘finds ways to reach higher in fulfilling their American dream’. Guo was born in China and immigrated to the US from Sweden as a child. She responded to the Covid-19 pandemic by creating a charity that both revives on-trade venues struggling with restrictions, and feeds healthcare workers and community members in need.
