Man remanded in custody over Michael Barr murder

A 36-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Michael Barr in Dublin in 2016.
Christopher Slater, with an address at Carnlough Road in Cabra, Dublin was remanded in custody and is due back before the courts next week.
Det Garda David Chapman told the Dublin District Court that Mr Slater was arrested and charged at the Bridewell Garda Station just before 10pm last night.
He said Mr Slater made no reply when charged.
An application for legal aid was made and granted.
Mr Barr, 35, was shot dead in the Sunset House at Summerhill Parade on 25 April 2016.

A MAN HAS been charged with the murder of Michael Barr, who was shot at the Sunset House pub in Dublin almost four years ago.
