HUNTINGTON, NY Jessica Price, a Huntington resident, was recently awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award by the North American Regional Association of the International Association for Landscape Ecology (IALE-NA), according to a news release.
Price is the renewable energy strategy lead for The Nature Conservancy, a New York City-based nonprofit. She is also the lead author of the recent Long Island Solar Roadmap – a report and online map that shows how Long Island could generate more power than the region uses on an annual basis without harming natural spaces, parks, or prime farmland.
