Exercise Caribewave 2023 created a buzz across Barbados today as residents, visitors and students took part in several activities executed as part of the annual event.
The exercise is designed to enable the National Emergency Management System and its stakeholders the opportunity to practice and evaluate elements of the national response mechanism in response to the tsunami hazard.

Barbados’ early warning systems for the tsunami hazard will be tested during the annual Caribe Wave exercise on Thursday, March 10.
