Art society hosts Easter exhibition Childhood memories of Easters past by Gail Pantin - The Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago (ASTT) gallery is hosting an exhibition called Easter Traditions and Religious Art. The exhibition opened on March 23 and will reopen on April 7 and runs until April 9. The society is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. It is open to the public, free of charge, from 12 pm - 6 pm. He is Risen by Judy Joseph Mungal - A media release said during the year its members rent the gallery and manage their own exhibitions. During Easter the members would display work with a religious theme.

NORRISTOWN — Dozens of families are being reminded Easter goes beyond the baskets of chocolate bunnies they received. The spirit of the springtime holiday was surely blooming with every donation of a colorful basket or an Easter ham that found its way to places like the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry in Lower Providence, the Lower Providence Optimist Club, Laurel House and the Patrician Society in Norristown. “Judge Rebar delivered 50 baskets to us and we’re getting a whole flatbed of food delivered today, hams and dry goods,” said LeeAnn Rooney, executive director of the Patrician Society on Wednesday.  “We’ve been so blessed.
