What went wrong with Artemis I was on the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center, so that’s where NASA has decided to try and fix it.

After scrubbing the launch of its Artemis rocket for a second time, NASA said it had decided to replace the seal on the Space Launch System's quick disconnect.

NASA teams in Florida will try to fix the Space Launch System moon rocket at the pad without rolling it back to the Vehicle Assembly Building.

NASA and the Space Force are in discussions about whether to delay the third try at a launch, which would be the first in NASA’s Artemis campaign to eventually return astronauts to the lunar surface.

A fuel leak that thwarted NASAs second attempt to launch its new Artemis 1 moon rocket on Saturday (Sept. 3) will likely take weeks to fix.

Stymied by a new liquid hydrogen leak, NASA called off its second attempt to launch the Artemis I flight test.

NASA says theyre "standing down" on any launch attempts for Artemis I right now.

All signs were pointing to optimism for NASA’s second shot at a moonshot on Saturday, but a familiar foe forced another scrub for the Artemis I flight from Kennedy Space Center, and now the rocket may be forced to head back to the Vehicle Assembly Building with its next launch opportunity uncertain.
