Tire store gutted by early morning fire in Snohomish KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle SNOHOMISH, Wash. - A tire store was destroyed by fire early Wednesday in Snohomish, emergency officials said. A 911 call sent firefighters racing to the scene, Eastside Tire in the 1100 block of Avenue D, at about 2:30 a.m. Somebody driving by saw an extreme amount of fire, says Snohomish Fire Chief Donald Waller. The first arriving crews (saw) flames shooting 50 feet out of back. The business is near a small strip mall and a KFC restaurant, but crews were able to prevent the flames from spreading.
