Students arrived filled with excitement and warm welcomes at Hall Fletcher Elementary on Aug. 28, the first day of school for Asheville and Buncombe.

The Buncombe County School Board has approved 20 new administrative assignments for the 2022-23 school year.

The district announced the new administrators May 28.  "We are pleased to have these strong administrators taking on new roles and responsibilities,” Buncombe County Schools Tony Baldwin said in a press release. “We know there is hard work ahead as we all continue to recover in the wake of the pandemic.
