A drug dealer accused of dismembering the corpse of a murdered jazz musician says he cannot remember taking a taxi trip with his body parts stuff in a suitcase in the boot, the Old Bailey heard.
William Blaise Algar, 53, who had mental health problems, was cuckooed by drug dealers who took over his tiny cluttered flat in Barnes, southwest London, to use it as a base for their trade, the prosecution alleges.
He was stabbed to death by a 19-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, when the teenager went mad after discovering, Mr Algar had been using his supply for recreational use, it is claimed.

A talented jazz musician was murdered and dismembered when he complained after a drug dealer killed his cat, a court heard.
William Algar, 53, was stabbed to death and parts of his body were found on a nature reserve.
Mr Algar, 53, who was known as by his middle name of Blaise, had objected to a 19-year-old threatening to kill his cat Felix and paid with his life, jurors heard.
After complaining to the teenager, who cannot be named, Mr Algar was stabbed through his chest at his home in Barnes, West London.
Prosecution witness Philip Ross said the teen killer confessed knifing Mr Algar.
