EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - The evacuation boundaries for the Caldor Fire have expanded to include a warning for Echo Summit and Twin Bridges. As of 4:30 p.m.

The Douglas County Community and Senior Center is currently opening its doors as a precautionary measure at the request of El Dorado County to take in evacuees from the Caldor Fire.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - The Caldor Fire burning southwest of Lake Tahoe is now 75,845 acres big, and 0 percent contained. There was an increase in fire activity due to wind shifts in a southerly direction. The main fire spread was in a northeasterly direction towards Highway 50.
