The blaze started at a group of four townhouses under construction on Echo Valley Place at Gardner Creek, a residential development located near the corner of Echo Valley Drive and Bear Mountain Parkway. West Shore RCMP closed Bear Mountain Parkway between Echo Valley Drive and Goldeneye Way and restricted traffic at Arngask Avenue and Echo Valley Drive.
