Herbert Miles, 74, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly from Richmond, Ohio, passed away on Sunday evening, April 18 from cardiac arrest due to a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He was born September 19, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio to Herbert and Irene (Watt) Miles.
Herb was a conductor for Conrail, retiring in 1999, a US Army Veteran, and a former member of the Edison Local School Board. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He would strike up a conversation with anyone as he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Catherine (Cathy [Coss]), his beloved little Westie Braxton, brothers William and Sanford of California, several cousins, and many friends.
