The crisis rocking Seplat Energy Plc took a turn for the worse, as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, suspended the company’s Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Roger Brown, and Board Chairman, Basil Omiyi, pending the determination of the Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction filed by some aggrieved shareholders of the company.
The Managing Director of Seplat Energy Plc, its other directors, and the Company Secretary have been barred from performing their official duties pending the outcome of a court case. This was started on Thursday by Justice Inyang Ekwo while ruling on an ex-parte request filed by three Seplat stockholders, Juliet Ebere Nwadi Gbaka, Margaret Awobusuyi Funmilayo, and Clement Akaeme.
