NEET PG 2021 exam to be postponed for 4 months as India battles 2nd COVID wave
NEET-PG has been postponed for at least four months, and the exam will not be held before August 31st, 2021.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Exam 2021 has been postponed for at least four months due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. After the revised date is announced, students will have at least one month to prepare. This decision was made following Prime Minister Modi s review meeting on Sunday (May 2nd).
“A decision was taken to postpone NEET-PG for at least 4 months and the exam will not be held before 31st August 2021. Students will also be given at least one month of time after announcement of exam before it is conducted. This will make a large number of qualified doctors available for Covid duties,” the Health Ministry said.
