Paturia ghat in Manikganj is witnessing a huge crowd today as thousands of people leaving Dhaka through launches and ferries to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their loved ones.

The river routes of Shimulia in Munshiganj, Banglabazar in Madaripur and Majhikandi in Shariatpur have been seeing huge crowds of homebound people since this morning.

Tourism business in Kuakata is expected to be booming during this Eid holiday as the most of the rooms in 130 residential hotels and motels have been booked already.

According to transport authorities, a whopping 15 lakh people are set to travel to various destinations during this Eid holiday.
