The transformed life is rooted in righteousness. Christ died to give us grace to live a righteous and holy life. It is not a cheap grace that makes people to live a defeated and sinful life.
Anyone giving his life to Jesus Christ should do it personally, voluntarily, willingly, happily, joyfully, gladly and intelligently. I did not give my life to Jesus out of foolishness and I did not give my life to Jesus because I didn’t know what I was doing.
You cannot be coming to church and be living for the devil. You cannot serve two masters Jesus said (Mathew 6:24). You have got to choose whom to serve, and this was the subject of Joshua’s address to the tribe of Israel.
When a person has given his life to Christ and he says he is a new creature; he says all things have become new in his life; he says he is no longer walking in darkness; he says he is no longer bearing the fruits.
When you live in sin and you think God does not see you, then you are foolish. It is foolishness to live in sin, whether it has to do with thought or whatever.
