Accreditation of old-age homes has started to ensure elders’ security. Government has commenced the accreditation process for senior citizens’ care homes. Vayah Vikas is driving this initiative and conducting a course on geriatrics and studying the effects of food and environment on the ageing of muscles. The aim is to provide affordable insurance for senior citizens and remove GST on health insurance policies for them.
