“My students are very excited to be displaying their artwork publicly,” said Anne White, art teacher at Sault Area High School. “This is something that they chose to do as it was not a class requirement. I hope that you will take the time to get out and see the displays and visit with the students.”
The Art Portfolio Class of 2021 at Sault High will be standing with their storefront displays at the downtown businesses listed below. Spectators are welcome to walk or drive by to view the artwork and wish the artists well.
Sault High Drama taking to the stage this weekend

SAULT STE. MARIE After two years, Sault Area High School students are performing the 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee play this weekend for all to view.
The Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics which centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three grown-ups.
“Literally anyone can identify with the situations each contestant finds themself in,” said Tracy Menard, who has been working at the Sault Schools since 1999. “It s a funny yet touching insight into the adolescent word of words, stress, competition and self confidence. The songs are really catchy.”
