Chebukati said any party or candidate in violation of the above will face a formal warning or part with a fine determined by IEBC.

The decree contains the wording of the referendum question, which is reproduced verbatim in the voting ballot: “Do you accept the amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus?”

"The Central Election Commission is ready to hold the referendum on 27 February. Tomorrow we will hold a meeting of the CEC. The methodological recommendations are ready, all materials necessary for the CEC meeting have been prepared," Igor Karpenko said.
