Organizations in California’s Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties, and Oregon’s Curry County, received grants ranging from $500 to $2,000 for holiday assistance programs offered between Nov. 15 and Jan. 1.
Humboldt Area Foundation + Wild Rivers Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2023 Holiday Funding Partnership grants from organizations that assist underserved residents of Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity,
“This new B.A. program and our partnership with Cal Poly Humboldt exemplify the power of collaboration,” Keith Flamer, president of College of the Redwoods, said in the release. “Together, we're rewriting the narrative of education within the prison system.”
