Chennai Metro Rail Limited introduces autonomous trainsets on phase-2 corridor 4 with unique features like standing perch seats, CCTV cameras, and regenerative braking system. The trains will extend to 116.1 km with an 80 km/h operational speed.

The Ministry of Transport, in co-ordination with the administration of Hanoi, held an inauguration ceremony of Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line on January 13 two months on from putting the line into commercial operation.
