And its coming right through the heart of downtown san jose. Look at that, that line of like yellow beads going right up 87 to the intersection with 280 into 82, theres 880, theres the heart of downtown san jose. Thats where weve been watching some of the more noticeable rain. Its not going to last much so longer. It will slowly move to the southeast. Were not out of this until we get done with saturday, but saturday is not all that impressive. Il
We want to get to the video right away, happened around 10 00 last night. San jose police have not told us who the victim is nor what that persons condition is. However, we also know that San Jose Police asked the chp to activate an amber alert for a 2yearold little girl taken around the same time. The amber alert is for this little girl, 2yearold, who may have been taken by her father. Shes bethany caranzza, not a super clear picture but the most recent picture that police had. She was last seen with her father, 24yearold victor megania, last sneep a light green 2007 hyundai, license plate 7xjx025. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see the car, you are asked to call 911. Chp has broadened out that amber alert to san joaquin county, he might be on the move. Were asking questions and well see you back here in half an hour. Where we do see the rain in santa rosa on northwood. Ill be tracking that as it continues to move through the rest of the bay area. More in a few minutes. Be careful, the dense fog is drifting all around right now and friday so it shows a little bit lighter, a little bit later than our typical commute. Were showing a smooth flow of traffic and the fastrak lanes. One cash lane yet to open on either side of the fastrak lanes. Getting there no problem as far as speeds go, i would lower your speeds because visibility is an issue. Look at the orange, a denser fog than what we saw at the bay bridge in most cases. San francisco and the north bay an issue with kari showing half mile visibility. It will make its way south, and then overnight into saturday for everybody. These are mild systems, but rain will be pretty good. I think santa rosa north, and i think all along, the forecast projections are way under done for the Russian River north. If you are in northern mendocino county, this is what we call a warm overrunning. The system is not here until late tonight or tomorrow, but there is rain being painted hear from clincher cloverdale, ellsberg hillsboro north. Fog is a big story. Rain. For the majority of us, it will be coming in later. The fog is here and drizzle is here. The dense fog advisories out and rain eventually drops out. It might take a while to even get down toward san jose and santa clara valley. Another system is on the way with various very high snow levels. Tomorrow, it will start to come down tomorrow afternoon and evening. It make it down to 4500 feet or 4000. For the majority, it will stay above 6000.
