Documents seen by the bbc appear to provide some of the most Detailed Insights yet into how china has handled hundreds of thousands of muslims held in a network of internment camps. They include personal details of members of the uighur community, placed in detention for reasons such as wearing a veil, applying for a passport or accidentally clicking on foreign internet sites. Researchers whove studied chinas policies in the Western Region of xinjiang believe the documents are further evidence of an official campaign against the uighurs.
