Mia Jones, 2, took out first prize in the girls final with an outfit bought entirely from the Hospice Shop in Richmond. Mum, Carla Jones from Fielding, said the outfit cost under $10, dressing the toddler from “head to toe” in a Charleston inspired outfit, complete with bags and hairband. Penman said she made the outfit from Spotlight material with the dragons on her top prompting her to make a hat topped with toy dragons. She won the Best Hat category.
