NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) - The Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department continues to vaccinate patients in the 65 and older category all across their health district.
A total of 360 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were administered at the clinic on Wednesday in Norfolk. Medical leaders there said even after you are fully vaccinated, you should still be careful.
They said they are still recommending masks to help slow down the spread of the virus. So it takes a couple of weeks after your second vaccine of the Pfizer and the Moderna to have adequate coverage. So the recommendation still is to continue masking, you know, until the pandemic is under control and over said Gina Uhing, the department s health director.
