Competition is in the heart of most people, and the students, faculty, and staff at CHS is no exception to that rule. Students and teachers are not going to miss out on the myriad of individual and cooperative competitive opportunities that present themselves at the high school level.
The school year is winding down, which usually means the activities and excitement around Carson High amp up in direct proportion. There is also much nailbiting and desperate prayers as freshmen and sophomores take their End of Course exams, juniors and seniors finish taking their AP exams, and finals approach for all students.
The Carson City Arts Initiative (CCAI) is delighted to present High School Pic[ks] 2 in the Community Development Building (the Brick) at 108 East Proctor Street in Carson City with 50 pieces of art by 41 students from four high schools, including Carson and Pioneer high schools.
Much of Carson High Schools’ success flows from the voluntary assistance of individuals and businesses selflessly giving of their time, their effort, and their resources to the advancement of Carson City’s youth and local community.
