Teen charged in deaths of friends
A teenager was arraigned on four felony criminal charges in connection with a car accident in LaSalle Township last year that led to the deaths of two of her friends.
Autumn Webb, 17, formerly of Monroe, was charged with two counts each of operating a vehicle while Intoxicated causing death and reckless driving causing death. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
The Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office filed the charges following an investigation into the Sept. 29 accident that claimed the lives of Johnathan Dewayne Porkarski, 19, of Luna Pier, and his fiancée, HeavenLeigh Beatrice Theiss, 17, of Erie.
