Central softball uses 5th inning rally to beat Holmen

Despite an early 3-0 deficit, Central softball rallied with a big fifth inning to beat Holmen 7-3 on Tuesday.
Holmen cranked two home runs in the first few frames, a two-run shot by Sydney Jahr and a solo blast from Ellie Kline, to build the 3-0 lead. Central’s bats were quiet until they scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth. Sophomore Santanna Carranza led the RiverHawks with 2 RBI.
Central improves to 7-6 overall and 5-3 in conference. Holmen drops to 12-4 overall and 7-2 in the MVC.
