EU to fund training of university graduates December 30, 2020 Written by AARON GAD ORENA The European Union recently promised to commit five million Euros to the Private Sector Foundation Uganda to fund skills training for young graduates. The move is intended to promote green investments and decent employment among Uganda and European firms with a presence in Uganda, officials said at a recent meeting. The programme will be run through a platform called the Sustainable Business for Uganda (SB4U). While addressing sector players at a recent meeting in Kampala, EU ambassador Attilio Pacifici lauded the partnership for being based on mutual respect and commonality of interests.
