Shouting and running. And then bang bang bang, bang bang, bang. You know, four or five shots. David millers window faces the street where a man with a knife was shot and killed by plain clothes officers. I saw a body over here on the street. A person being detained by the police next to the tree. The 911 call came around 9 45 last night. Here at fulsome between 24th and 25th streets. Police say the suspect armed with a long kitchen knife was threatening a man. He later told police the suspect was trying to steal his bicycle. Coincidentally, two plane cloiths officers were driving by at the time. Police say they shot the suspect after he advanced toward them refusing orders to drop his knife. The officers drew their weapons, demanded for the man to drop his knife. He refused. We have several witnesses that heard this. The shooting was big news in this busy Mission District neighborhood. Real scare for a homeowner who found a Mountain Lion roaming around her property. Images being captured on surveillance. Imagine looking out a glass door and seeing a Mountain Lion staring back at you. Thats what happened this morning. Once spotted, it didnt take off, instead it stuck around for a while. I saw this big face. And my Immediate Reaction was, i have to make sure that door is locked. Jeanette was just starting her day as an executive assistant. This is the face she saw belonging to a young Mountain Lion. It was alone and calm on the patio. They were separated by glass doors. It seemed like it was curious. Very strange. It didnt seem scared at all, which kind of scared me. The area is heavily wooded. Homes are widely separated by acres of natural growth. Miss anderson said the lion appeared to be a cub.
