Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art’s (BMoCA) 13th street building wasn’t designed to be a museum. Larger pieces can’t fit through the doors and the floors won’t support the weight of heftier works, like marble sculptures. That’s going to change when BMoCA moves into a new space in north Boulder (NoBo) where it will be part of a “creative campus” set to include housing and retail space.
