BC reports 1,001 new cases of COVID-19 as hospitalizations drop dramatically Health officials reported 1,001 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, along with four additional deaths. Of the new cases, 215 were in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 626 in Fraser Health, 26 in Island Health, 93 in Interior Health and 39 in Northern Health.
