This news will bring a lot of joy to those who were fans of RTÉ’s Big Big Movie slots on Saturday evenings, where the Mighty Ducks movies were always a hit.
In short, it was an epic trilogy about an ice hockey team with an inspiring coach called Gordon Bombay, who was played by Emilio Estévez.

As a child of the 80s and 90s, Coach Bombay and the Mighty Ducks were a big part of my childhood. Don t forget that kid was Joshua Jackson who would go on to star as Pacey on Dawson s Creek and a bunch of other shows!
Well, it looks like the Ducks are back! Emilio Estévez will reprise his role as Coach Bombay and Lauren Graham (the mom from Gilmore Girls) joins as the franchise it moves from movies to a TV show that will stream on Disney+.
