The largest outage was in Cheboygan County, with more than 5,700 without power. Roscommon had the second highest at 2,518. Isabella County reported about 1,600, Shepherd Public Schools closed because of the outage there. Clare had more than 1,400 without power, Montmorency reported more than 1,300, and several other counties reported smaller outages. If your power is out, contact your power provider for an estimated restoration time. Consumers Energy has a map that provides estimated restoration times. And on their website, they warn high winds could accompany outages on Thursday.
