CALHOUN Co., Ala. (WBRC) - Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown confirmed a sixth person has died because of injuries sustained from the March 25 tornado.
According to the coroner, three family members were killed in the same house. A fourth person was killed in a mobile home. The fifth died somewhere along Wellington Road.
71-year-old James William Geno, 73-year-old Willie Gene Harris, 38-year-old Ebonique Harris, 69-year-old Barbara Harris, and 72-year-old Emily Myra Wilborn were killed on March 25.

CALHOUN Co., Ala. (WBRC) - Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown confirmed a sixth person has died because of injuries sustained from the March 25 tornado.
Brown identified the victim as 59-year-old Deborah Free of Ohatchee.
Free was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital after sustaining injuries from the storm and was released a short time later.
Officals say the next she still felt bad and went to a hospital. Free was then transported back to St. Vincent’s where she remained until she died on April 24, according to Brown.

Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown on Tuesday said 59-year-old Deborah Free was pronounced dead in late April at a Birmingham hospital. Free was transported to Birmingham on the day of the powerful March 25 storms, then released and later hospitalized again before her death.
Free lived in Ohatchee, where four other people were killed - three in the same family. The other Calhoun County fatality victims were Joe Wayne Harris, 74, Barbara Harris, 69, Ebonique Harris, 38, James William Geno, 72 and Emily Myra Wilborn, 71.
Alabama had at least 10 tornadoes that Thursday, March 25, including an EF3 with winds of 140 mph in Shelby County, that caused extensive property damage, numerous injuries and multiple fatalities across the state, the National Weather Service said.
