Emily Wesoky had a different winter break than most student-athletes. The Wagner College women’s lacrosse sophomore spent four weeks trying out for Israel’s national women’s lacrosse team in what was called the “Winter Bubble.”
Wesoky has played for Team Israel since 2016 as a member of the U16 and U19 squads while now training to join the senior national team. Her international playing experience includes participating at the Women’s World Championships in London in 2017 as a member of the U16 team and U19 World Championships in Peterborough, Canada in 2019.
