(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – As the current insecurity situation in parts of Nigeria continues unabated, the Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese Most Rev (Dr) Emmanuel Olisa Chukwuma has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office honorably if he cannot tackle the menace.
The Delta state born outspoken cleric who expressed worry over the development, said it is sad and disheartening seeing innocent citizens being killed on daily basis by unknown armed men in parts of Nigeria, including South East Nigeria.
Chukwuka, said the best thing for the president to do is to throw in the towel honorably if he feels the situation has overwhelmed him.
