Black History month continues, and a dance group in Encinitas is inviting community members to immerse themselves in a West African dance class this Sunday.
The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its Senior Expo “Embracing Retirement” will take place Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center, at 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas. The free event is open to the public and brought to the community by the Encinitas Chamber in partnership with the City of Encinitas.The Senior Expo offers valuable information to those retiring soon, those that are retired and families of aging individuals, all who need a little help navigating this new life chapter. Exhibitors include healthcare providers, housing options, senior lifestyle businesses, fitness & wellness, government agencies, financial and tax services, insurance and more.Activities include opportunity drawings, refreshments and a breakfast hosted by the Encinitas Rotary’s Home Team, a free community service for seniors having a difficult time with many common household repairs.
