it suddenly lost power. he did manage to make an extraordinary landing. this is a golf course. all of that green grass that you re looking at and that is the vintage plane. you can see that the nose has broken off but the body itself is relatively unscathed, perhaps why he didn t have any more severe injuries. witnesses pulled him out. his head was bleeding. they did take him to the hospital and he is listed in stable condition. the question is why that engined stalled. people who heard the plane take off actually heard that engine stop. he didn t quite make it to the airport but the people who live here in this neighborhood in this very densely populated area say they are very glad he managed to land safely here on this golf course. and earlier we spoke with the man from the neighborhood who heard the engine problems and
and found somebody to call for help. now investigator says she might be able to help them figure out what wet wrong. it happened friday night. the child s father was supplying a small plane from florida to im. he reported engine problems over kentucky and crashed in the western bart of the state. four people died including the child s father, mother and sister. the girl, name sailor broke her wrist in the crash but was still able to walk, hike, through the deep woods to get help. through some really tough terrain, awfully poor weather conditions tonight. and survived this. it s just really a miracle. investigators with the national transportation safety board say it is rare that anybody survives a plane crash like that. we now have a former investigator with the ntsb. no matter where you are you have too say a prayer for that little

did to survive this deadly plane crash. the twin engine aircraft went down in a dense forest on friday. the young survivor sailor lost her mom, dad, stfr, and cousin all on that plane. let s get now to cnn s nick valencia with more on this. there was a press conference. we are finally seeing some images of the plane crash site and this little girl is remarkable. and during that press conference we find out just how remarkable she was just exactly what she had to go through. as we talked about all day yesterday, this plane, this small twin engine plane was on its way from florida to illinois when it had an emergency midair. we believe it was engine problems that eventually brought this plane down. the faa still investigating. brent white, with the kentucky police department or statute police you should say, talked about how it was so cold 38 degrees, rough terrain.
