Rakesh Roy, an engineer from Kerala, has made the state s first self-identified private small hydroelectric project. Mukkudam Small Hydroelectric Project in Idukki last month started to supply power to the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Limited. Roy has said that his childhood inspiration drove him to create the hydroelectric project.
