For a couple of weeks during this years legislative session, education dominated the conversation at the state Capitol. But it was all of the K-12 variety.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock kicked off the public phase of its largest-ever fundraising campaign over two days from Oct. 13 and 14, first with a gala for key stakeholders and then with a community-wide formal announcement during its annual BBQ at Bailey tailgate-style event.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rocks Centennial Campaign, which celebrates the universitys 100-year anniversary in 2027, is the largest fundraising effort in university history.
