(Photo courtesy of DSWD-9) ZAMBOANGA CITY - The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Zamboanga Peninsula (DSWD-9) released Tuesday the educational assistance of the Aug. 20 stampede victims here. Ivan Eric Salvador, DSWD-9 information officer, said 27 of the 29 victims of the incident have received their respective educational assistance from the agency. Salvador said the beneficiaries comprised of elementary, high school, senior high and college students. They received an amount ranging from PHP1,000 to PHP4,000.
