“부산시는 황강 취수가 필요하면 군민 동의 먼저 구하라.”
환경부가 황강 광역취수장을 군민 동의 없이 일방적으로 추진하자 문준희 합천군수는 앞으로 군민들과 협의가 될 때까지 환경부와 그 어떤 만남도 하지 않겠다는 입장을 고수하고 있다. 지난달 24일 환경부 낙동강유역물관리위 정책위원회에서 합천 황강 물과 창녕 강변여과수를 동부경남과 부산에 공급하는 낙동강 통합물관리 방안이 의결됐다.
낙동강유역물관리위원회가 조건부 의결한 낙동강 통합물관리 방안은 오는 2030년까지 낙동강 수질 2급수 이상 개선, 2028년까지 취수원 다변화, 주민 피해가 없도록 하는 지역 상생 방안 등을 마련했으며, 취수원 다변화 사업을 착공하기 전까지 객관적인 방법을 통해 주민 동의를 구한다는 조건이 달려있다.
