ASWSU Executive Assistant Lauren Moffat spoke to the 51st Senate at their Wednesday night meeting about some of the things she accomplished during her time on the Executive team. This semester, Moffat gave the Services and Activities Fee presentation on behalf of ASWSU Executives. She said they are thankful for everything the Senate has done.
WSU’s Environmental Sustainability Alliance is cleaning up parts of campus from 3-5 p.m. today as part of Earth Week. Stevie Fawcett, sophomore microbiology and Spanish double major, said the event’s purpose is to get rid of litter. This event is the last of the week’s environmental awareness activities. The ASWSU Environmental Sustainability Alliance is working to replace Coug Bikes with electric scooters by the end of fall, and is determining the location for a planned community garden. ESA is set to table for their petition this week and is hoping to make progress on it in the next month, said ESA chair Stevie.
