Street Talk: The matter of constitutional carry, for those who demand stricter gun controls for all, becomes irresistible low-hanging fruit whenever gun violence makes the news.

I don’t know if I’m the only one who is tired of politicians who, after serving one or two terms, want a do-over. If they didn’t put enough money aside for later years, there are plenty of help wanted signs around for a job. We’ve had enough of Bruce Poliquin, Paul LePage, Eric Brakey and […]

On the other hand, her opponent, Eric Brakey, hung up on me when I called asking him to support legislation putting an affordable housing bond on […]

In Maine, it was killed by legislators in the State House after it passed Maine’s Senate. In Nevada, Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak vetoed the bill that had been passed by members of his own party in the legislature.

One of your published letters claimed Eric Brakey, if elected to the Maine Senate, will fight for Mainers’ rights as he did for the rights of those who want to carry a concealed gun without a permit. Ten years ago, Brakey came to Maine and served as state director of the failed Libertarian Ron Paul […]
