At their last meeting of the year last week, Roanoke School Board approved a bid for roofing projects at Handley High and Knight-Enloe Elementary schools. The board received six bids on the project and accepted the bid from Alabama Roofing in Anniston in the amount of $495,000. The work will begin as soon as possible and will be completed soon, weather permitting.
