The United Nations Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) said on Monday it would not be able to continue operations in Gaza and across the region beyond the end of February if funding were not resumed.

Several countries, including EU members Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Finland, paused funding for UNRWA after allegations by Israel that 12 of its 13,000 staff in Gaza were involved.
